Windows 10 was supposed to be the last version of Windows, but they've just hidden the product name as a version number rather than the headline on the box. I call BS. I remember in sitting in my parents' spare room watching the HDD on their PC spin while it did whatever the IT profession deemed it was necessary for it to be doing, rather than helping me achieve things.
A quarter of a century later, I am still going to have to waste my time watching their month old machine do a massive system update rather than something useful. Is the IT industry likely to reach any degree of professionalism before I die?
